The Drivers of Food Choice Competitive Grants Programme are pleased to announce the Drivers of Food Choice Competitive Grants Program Request for Proposals! We aim to solicit applications and select research projects for funding that will provide a deep understanding of the drivers of food choice among the poor, particularly in the 34 low- and middle-income countries that account for 90% of the global burden of undernutrition. Studies will use qualitative or quantitative methods or both to examine key aspects of food choice in the targeted regions. Furthermore, projects that have the potential to strengthen country-level leadership in nutrition to support future efforts will be prioritized.
We will be holding an informational webinar on September 30th, 2015 to answer questions about the program and submission process. More information about the webinar will be posted shortly. Concept Memos are due November 1st, 2015.
The full Request for Proposal can be accessed here.
The Drivers of Food Choice Competitive Grants Program is funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and UK aid from the UK government through the Department for International Development (DFID).
