Canadian Nutrition Society Annual Conference 2025: Call for Session Proposals

The Canadian Nutrition Society (CNS) Annual Conference will take place in Montreal, Quebec from 8-10 May 2025. It offers an excellent opportunity to contribute, learn and connect with fellow professionals in the field of food and nutrition.

CNS is inviting its members to submit symposia proposals that reflect the basic science, public health, regulatory and clinical membership base to be considered for their 2025 Conference programme.

Types of Conference Sessions

  • Concurrent sessions:  60 minutes in length, which includes a brief introduction, followed by two invited speakers and one short abstract presentation (optional) selected by the session chairs from abstract/poster submissions.
  • Plenary sessions:75-90 minutes. These sessions typically have no competing sessions.
  • Interactive sessions: in the form of panel discussions, “debate” or workshop-style sessions to allow for a focus on important topics of interest and ideally to support increased knowledge translation.
  • Sponsored Satellite Sessions: 60-70 minutes in length, these sessions provide opportunities for external groups, such as industry, commodity groups, or other relevant stakeholders, to host a session to showcase research findings and engage in dialogue with a dedicated nutrition science and practice community.  Visit Sponsored Conference Satellite Sessions for more information.

If you want to propose a session, please visit the CNS website.

All sessions presented will be presented in English.

Proposals are due Friday, October 18, 2024 at 11:59pm ET.
