This southern summer course will take place from 10-12 March 2025. It focuses on developing topics in the nutrition and health axis with emphasis on personalized (individualized) and precision (multifactorial) nutrition. The topics will include original presentations of nutritional-related scientific data on topics related to chronic diseases such as obesity, diabetes, cardiometabolic disorders and cancer. In addition, the course program will include a series of master presentations on personalized nutrition and nutriomics topics taught by international scientists and researchers in which emphasis will be placed on the applications of precision nutrition supported by genomic, epigenetic, transcriptomic, metagenomic and metabolomic methods and its bioinformatic integration for its application in the relationship between nutrition and health.

This southern summer course aims to cover the following objectives:

• Development of current topics by prestigious nutritionists for their implementation in health maintenance as well as in the prevention and treatment of chronic metabolic diseases
• Introduction to the applications of omic methodologies (genomics, epigenetics, trascriptomics, metagenomics and metabolomics) for their application for healthy metabolism and precision nutrition.
• Presentation of precision and nutriomic nutrition research by young researchers, doctoral students and young postdoc.
