The Science Council of Japan – IUNS Subcommittee regularly organises workshops to foster the development of early-career researchers. On this occasion, we will hold a joint workshop in collaboration with ICPH & ICoFF 2026.

Participants will attend conference lectures related to a topic of their own choice, engage in group discussions with others who selected the same topic, and present the outcomes of their discussions. 

Registration for the workshop is available through the ICPH & ICoFF 2026 website. The deadline for participation is April 30th (Thu), 2026 (JST, UTC+9).

You are invited to the ICPH & ICoFF 2026 (The 12th International Conference on Polyphenols and Health, and the 9th International Conference on Food Factors), which will be held at PACIFICO Yokohama from 13-17 October 2026. The mission of this joint conference is to promote research across all areas of basic and applied food and nutritional sciences. 

The ICPH conference is becoming a key international forum for discussing the health-promoting functions of polyphenols. The ICoFF has developed into a valuable global meeting where researchers in food sciences, medicine, and pharmaceuticals come together to present their work on food-derived bioregulatory factors. 

The theme of the conference is “Food Augmentation: Function, Sensory, and Experience,” which reflects the aim to push the boundaries of what food can achieve and to open new horizons in food functionality research. The conference offers a unique opportunity for scientific exchange and networking among academia, industry, and regulatory sectors, bringing together both emerging and established researchers and experts.
