IUNS-ICN 2025 in Paris

A Remarkable Success

The 23rd International Congress of Nutrition (IUNS-ICN) took place in Paris from 24 to 29 August 2025. Under the theme “Sustainable Food for Global Health”, the event gathered a dynamic international community of researchers, practitioners, and innovators.

Key Figures at a Glance

  • 3,835 attendees representing 117 countries
  • 22 exhibiting organisations
  • 7 plenary sessions, 36 special lectures, 155 scientific symposia, and 12 sponsored symposia
  • 1,619 speakers
  • 2,415 abstracts submitted, including 1,493 e-posters
  • Highlights included: a gala dinner aboard the Bateaux Parisiens, a night-time Louvre visit, and a tour of the Tea Gardens at L’Orée du Bois
  • The opening ceremony featured a piano concert by Mr. Hugues Leclère, followed by an inspiring closing ceremony

Canada to Host the 24th IUNS-ICN 2029 in Vancouver 

The International Union of Nutritional Sciences (IUNS) is thrilled to announce that Vancouver, British Columbia, will be the host city for the 24th edition of the IUNS International Congress of Nutrition (ICN) 2029. This prestigious global gathering will be organised by the Canadian Nutrition Society and will bring together leading voices in nutrition science, policy, and practice for an inspiring and impactful event.
